Founding Story

ESPN tells everyone where a game is. Hotline tells you whether YOU can watch it.

Sports broadcasts got fragmented. Hotline Sports is built for the fan standing in front of the TV asking for the honest next step: open this app, add this service, verify this listing, or stop hunting.

01

How the answer gets honest

Your location

Blackouts and regional feeds change the real answer from one market to the next.

Your services

A channel listing is only useful if it maps to something you can actually open.

Rights data

When the rights path is thin, Hotline says so instead of pretending certainty.

Your location + your services + the rights data = a verdict you can trust. Every option is resolved from broadcast, rights, and carriage data — never guessed. The answers come from Vern. It stands for something. It’s not important.

02

Built from the fan side

Tony Marks spent seven years building AI for the biggest names in sports — the first official AI agent for the Olympic Games across Rio, PyeongChang, and Tokyo, the first AI chatbot for a professional sports team, voice AI used by the NFL and NBA. Then he came home to Kansas City and built the thing he could never find as a fan: a straight answer to "where's the game on?" Hotline Sports is built by a super fan, for super fans — by someone who's shipped fan-facing AI at global scale and got tired of needing six apps to find one kickoff.
